Since 1959, Wally's House of Embers has prided itself in its fine family tradition. That was the year that Wally and Barbara Obois opened the restaurant. They ran the operation, along with their 5 children until their retirement in 1998. Their 2 sons, graduates of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, along with their sister Deb, now own the business. In 1959, Wally decided that his new restaurant would be famous for hickory smoked BBQ ribs. Wally perfected the technique that is still in use today for this tender delicious entree. Barbara, not to be outdone, came up with the formula for incredible cinnamon rolls that we are also famous for.

Other popular selections are grilled pizzas, shrimp and crab stuffed filet mignon, coconut shrimp, Austrian veal, salmon with pesto and gourmet sandwiches. Barbara's famous cinnamon rolls, salad dressings, sauces and desserts are made in house, and it shows. Our eclectic bar features over 21 Martinis and weekend entertainment.

We are a casual to fine dining restaurant and our guests feel comfortable with either attire.
